What an amazing Creation Seminar we had down in the Tampa, Florida area! It was really cool to see a youth group from Frostproof, (yes Frostproof) Florida drive over two hours to come for the Friday conference. After the session, we went to McDonald’s and enjoyed some great fellowship as well as a rubber band war. The youth group stayed overnight for the Saturday morning sessions as well, and were so moved by the presentations that they called home to find out if they could stay one more night in order to attend the meetings Sunday.
Pastor Todd, a.k.a P.T. was still on the phone getting permission from the senior pastor for these kids to stay during the picture.
With all the parents’ approval and other people taking their responsibilities at church — they stayed — and God did a great work in each of their lives! We are so thankful these hearts are tender to God’s calling on their lives. My heart goes out to all the students who do not have an opportunity to hear these foundational truths on the creation and their Creator. Even those teens who do personally know their Creator often do not know how to defend their faith in Him. That is what our Unshakable Faith Course is all about. Pray for us as we endeavor to deliver this message to the youth of America! We are working to empower every student to “Give an Answer.”
