God is so good.
I had the opportunity to go to Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida immediately following the Ken Ham versus Bill Nye debate. Let’s just say that leaving 20-degree-weather and a snowstorm to head down and be among palm trees and sunshine proved a wonderful day for me. (See pictures below.) I was privileged to be a part of the conference entitled “In the Beginning.” We worked on this event for months and were thrilled to see it all come together.
High-fives to Tom DeRosa and his team from Creation Studies Institute who put together this amazing opportunity for people to learn and solidify their faith in God. Held at the Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, one of the largest Calvary Chapel churches in America, this conference provided people with the opportunity to learn how science and the Bible go hand in hand. With speakers like Carl Kerby, Rob Carter, Eric Purtic and Billy Schott, it was a weekend packed full of exciting training.
