Jim Hoff
Engineer
Jim Hoff holds a BSEE (bachelor of science, electrical engineering) from University of Wisconsin. During his 40-year computer design engineering career, he was a member of the team that designed the STAR-100, at one time in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s most powerful computer! Jim even lived in Israel for four years, and worked at an Israeli computer manufacturing company where—FUN FACT—he lost his job for giving a ride to a convicted anti-Israel terrorist!
Jim accepted Christ in 1978 at the age of 30. He and his wife, Mary live in Pennsylvania and have been “Group home” parents to over 40 troubled teens.
