Competition Rules:

Welcome to our competition, where we challenge individuals to scientifically demonstrate the plausibility of Macro Evolution. At the heart of our challenge is the claim that Macro Evolution—the idea that one kind of creature evolves into a completely different kind over vast periods of time—does not align with mathematical, biological, or genetic evidence. If you can show otherwise, you’ll win $1,000.

Our Argument: The Mathematics of DNA Mutation Rates

We will present the mathematical evidence by examining the DNA base-pair differences between humans and apelike creatures, two species often cited as closely related. We will calculate:

1. The rate of beneficial mutations that would be required to accumulate in order to achieve these differences.
2. The population-wide spread of these beneficial mutations over generations.
3. The total time required to create these genetic changes through natural selection processes.

Our argument demonstrates that the proposed timescales for Macro Evolution to occur—measured in millions of years—are mathematically infeasible given the mutation rates, generation times, and the statistical probability of beneficial mutations spreading successfully throughout a population.

Macro Evolution vs. Micro Evolution

It is important to clarify the difference between Macro Evolution and Micro Evolution, as only the former is the subject of this challenge.

Micro Evolution refers to small changes or variations within a species, such as differences in fur color, beak shape, or size. This form of adaptation is observable, repeatable, and well-documented. It occurs within the existing genetic framework of an animal kind and does not result in one kind becoming a completely different kind.

Macro Evolution proposes that these small changes, compounded over millions of years, lead to the emergence of entirely new, previously non-existant kinds, such as reptiles evolving into birds or apelike creatures evolving into humans. This grand-scale transformation is what we argue is scientifically impossible.

Our challenge targets Macro Evolution, not the observable variations within species that are referred to as Micro Evolution.

Definition of “Impossible”

In the context of this competition, “impossible” does not refer to theoretical or hypothetical possibility but rather to scientific plausibility. For a claim to be scientifically plausible, it must be:

1. Supported by empirical data that demonstrates a process can occur within the known laws of biology and mathematics.
2. Consistent with the mutation rates, reproduction rates, and generational timelines observed in nature.
3. Demonstrated to work within the time constraints proposed by evolutionary theory for the emergence of new species.

If the evidence for Macro Evolution cannot meet these criteria, we conclude that it is scientifically impossible—not just unlikely or theoretical, but beyond the realm of reasonable scientific possibility.

Competition Rules and Guidelines

Eligibility: This competition is open to anyone with an argument backed by scientific evidence and calculations.

Submission Requirements:

Entries must clearly address the distinction between Micro and Macro Evolution and prove with 100% certainty that Macro Evolution can occure without assistance or guidance from human intervention.

Submissions must include mathematical calculations and scientific evidence showing that the proposed genetic changes required for Macro Evolution can occur within the proposed timescales.

References to peer-reviewed scientific literature are encouraged but must be relevant and properly cited.

Evaluation Criteria:

Submissions will be judged on their scientific rigor and adherence to the defined challenge criteria.

Any entry relying on speculation without empirical evidence will be disqualified.

Duplicate Submissions:

In the event of duplicate submissions—where multiple participants present the same or substantially identical arguments—the first valid submission received will be eligible for the prize, provided it meets all competition criteria.

Subsequent duplicate entries, even if valid, will not be awarded the prize. Participants are encouraged to develop unique arguments and original presentations to avoid disqualification due to duplication.

Disqualification:

Arguments that only demonstrate Micro Evolution or use theoretical possibilities without practical plausibility will not be accepted.

Entries using logical fallacies, irrelevant evidence, or unsubstantiated claims will be disqualified.

Judging Panel: A panel of experts in biology, mathematics, and philosophy will review the submissions and make a final determination. The decision of the judging panel is final.

Prize: The winner, if any, will receive $1,000. If no entry successfully meets the criteria, the prize will not be awarded.

Why This Matters: The Truth About Your Origin and Purpose

If evolution is false, the only remaining explanation for our existence is Creation—and that means you were intentionally created by a loving Creator. The complexity, beauty, and design we see in the world around us and in our own DNA are not the product of random chance but the work of an intelligent God. You are not an accident. Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross to take the penalty for our sins, and rose from the dead to offer eternal life to anyone who places their faith in Him (John 3:16).

You were created to know God and enjoy a relationship with Him. That relationship begins by acknowledging that you need Him, repenting of your sins, and putting your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. When you do this, you will experience the peace and joy that only God can provide.
