What is faith? You may have heard the “Christian speak” of “just have faith,” or “step out in faith.” But neither of those terms really give us a good idea of what faith ACTUALLY is! Is it a blind act, based only on the idea that we should have faith in God? Is it a way that we as Christians can feel better about ourselves when we don’t understand something? What is faith?

Well, the voice behind the popular “Debunked” videos from Reasons for Hope, Bub Kuns, joined me on the Creation Today Show to answer those questions. According to him, faith isn’t what you may think. He started out by telling us what faith ISN’T. Faith isn’t putting words in God’s mouth and then being upset when things don’t happen according to those words. That’s definitely not it.

What faith IS, however, is having a confident trust in a reliable source that leads to obedience. Now you may be wondering, “So if faith is trust, why is it that we can trust God?” And that, my friend, is an excellent question! And Bub has an answer for that too! He calls it, “The C’s and the TION’s.” Stick with me here!

I will leave the in-depth explanation to Bub, but here’s the quick rundown of this concept:

God reveals His Character through Revelation.

God reveals His Care through Incarnation.

God reveals His Capabilities through Creation.

These C’s and TION’s give us ample reason to trust (have faith) in God. And Bub has some incredible insights and personal testimony to share about what this looks like practically. You don’t want to miss it!
