“Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.
Not all holes, or games, are created equal.” ~
George Will, American Political Commentator.

I might not be that crazy about baseball, but I think George hit a home run with this observation. After touring the Grand Canyon six years in a row and learning something new each time, I can testify that this “hole in the ground” is a breathtaking spectacle which points to both the creative power and the righteous judgment of a holy God. Since the park opened in 1919, almost 1 BILLION people have visited the park to peer over the edge or trek to the bottom. On a recent visit I had a CRAZY idea that I think you will LOVE.

IF YOU HAVE TIME, HERE’S A 3 MINUTE VIDEO ON HOW IT GOT STARTED

Before His ascension, Jesus commanded His followers to spread the Gospel to every nation. (Matthew 28:19-20) That was truly a Great Commission! Today, with approximately 7.7 billion people on the planet, it could easily be called the Grand Commission! Like Gideon’s army, God has raised up a handful of people to accomplish this task. We would welcome you as one more member of the team for what we see as a God-sized project. Please join me in praying for opportunities to accomplish the Grand Commission using the Grand Canyon to reach millions with an effective approach to sharing the gospel.

More Ways to Share Your Faith

October is the perfect month for evangelism because it affords so many opportunities to engage people in your community. Here are some of our favorites ideas:

  • Pass out tracts at a Fall Festival.
  • Set up a booth at the Fair.
  • Engage customers at the coffee shop while sipping your pumpkin spice latte.
  • Hand out tracts during a hayride.
  • Put tracts in candy bags to give out when children come knocking on your door!

The first 100 of our brand new tracts brought 47 people to the Salvation page on our website! It’s our God’s Journey for Mankind Round Tuits.” People say they are curious about their ancestry and that they want to check it out whenever they get “around to it.” Now you can give them their very own “Round Tuit” while encouraging them to consider eternity.

In addition to our Round Tuit tracts, we now offer Salvation Poem Cards. This simple, yet profound poem was sung at the end of GENESIS: Paradise Lost, and has already impacted many with the Gospel. Handing it out in tract form is an easy way to leave a message of hope with someone who needs Christ.

Watch it!

Our Genesis Movie Outreach just keeps growing! We just shipped 608 DVDs and Blu-rays to Australia. They desperately need the Gospel Down Under! Now we are waiting for the very first shipment of Second Edition Genesis Movies with 27 languages representing 4.4. billion speakers! Out of that many people, surely you know someone to whom you can give this revolutionary, Creation-to-the-Cross Message.

October’s going to be busy for all of us as we live out our faith for the glory of God!
